Program Overview

Summer Wonders is a nonresidential, full or half-day program that allows students to explore diverse subjects in a challenging, creative environment through an integrative, hands-on, non-traditional approach. We match exciting teachers with a classroom of like-leveled learners. Our enrollment in years past has included international students, children from other states, and a number of children from Texas cities outside Austin, as well as from every school district in and around Austin.

All Summer Wonders students participate in fast-paced, interactive classes with hands on activities and explorational learning. Course topics are academic in nature, presented in a fun, creative manner that inspires critical thinking and enables students to solve problems and affect discovery. Content areas include but are not limited to science, math, art, drama, social studies, literature and economics.

Summer Wonders is held during three different two-week sessions. Each session runs for two weeks, Monday through Friday.

Students have the option to enroll as:

Little Wonders (Pre-K, 9 AM–12 PM)

Morning students (K-8, 9 AM–12 PM)

Full Day students (K-8, 9 AM–3 PM)

Free morning care starts at 8:00 AM.

Extended Care is available from 3–5:30 PM.

Summer Wonders is proud to be a five-time winner of Best Summer Camp in the Austin Chronicle Readers’ Poll
