What does a typical camp day look like?

Our camp day begins with a sense of togetherness as we gather outside for morning activities, fostering a strong community spirit through outdoor games, lively movement, and team-building fun. This energizing start sets the tone for the day, giving campers a chance to connect with friends and enjoy the fresh air. Afterward, we transition into our first two-hour camp class, where the real fun and learning begin—whether diving into creative projects, scientific discoveries, or imaginative adventures.

Following a well-deserved lunch break to relax and recharge, campers jump into a different two-hour afternoon class for more exciting exploration. They’ll continue building, creating, and collaborating, whether they’re wrapping up an art piece, completing a STEM experiment, or rehearsing for a theater performance. We end the day with time to reflect on the day’s experiences, celebrate achievements, and savor those special summer camp moments before heading home with new memories and friendships.

Is lunch provided?

No, lunch is not provided. There will be time for a snack, as well as lunch, which you can send to camp with your child.

Can my child attend multiple sessions?

Yes! You are welcome to register your child for any combination that works for you.

Are the sessions cumulative? Will my child be confused if they don't attend all sessions?

The sessions are not cumulative. It's perfectly okay not to enroll in all the classes, and each session is designed to stand alone, not requiring cumulative participation. Jump in and out as your schedule allows.

The only exception is for the Matilda Jr. Theater Camp. Campers must commit to the full two weeks and the performance date.

What happens after I register?

After you complete registration, time to get excited! Shortly after you will receive a confirmation email and Welcome Packet with more specific information about the camp. You will also receive some forms to complete, including important information about any medical concerns or allergies.

When does registration close?

You are able to register for classes until they are full.

What is your cancellation policy?

Registration for any Summer Wonders session can be canceled for a full refund two weeks prior to the first day of the session.
