TA Characteristics
Our TAs are mature, responsible, punctual self-starters who enjoy learning and helping others. Patience, empathy and good communication skills are essential as well! They are mentors, inspire curiosity, and act as a guiding light for the next generation.
TA Responsibilites

Attend a training session for preparation prior to the start of Summer Wonders.

Ensure punctuality by arriving at 8 am or noon (dpending on which shift you are working) every camp day to assist with assigned responsibilities.

Aid the teacher in managing classroom tasks, including setup and cleanup.

Support students with camp activities.

Assist in organizing and overseeing snack, lunch and restroom breaks.

Support transitions, and, if working the afternoon shift, staying to help clean up and set up for the next day until 4pm.

Have fun with the campers, creating a warm and welcoming environment :)
